OAR Systems was founded on a simple premise: the most consequential projects deserve the most capable teams. We operate at the intersection of technology strategy, aerial intelligence, and data infrastructure — and we don't take on work we can't do exceptionally well.
Our story
Precision-built from the ground up.
OAR Systems was founded by engineers and operators who had spent years watching critical infrastructure projects fail — not from lack of effort, but from lack of the right technical foundation. Too many organizations were flying blind: making decisions without reliable data, operating systems that didn't talk to each other, and deploying technology that looked good in a pitch deck but fell apart in the field.
We built OAR Systems to close that gap. Our three service lines — technology consulting, drone services, and data engineering — aren't separate offerings bolted together. They're an integrated capability designed to take a project from aerial data capture through to actionable insight, with the technology infrastructure to sustain it.
Every engagement we take on is staffed with practitioners who have done the work before. We don't subcontract the hard parts. We don't hand off deliverables that need a second team to interpret. We build things that work — and we stand behind them.

Marcus founded OAR Systems after a decade leading technology integration programs for energy and infrastructure clients. He holds FAA Part 107 certification and has personally flown over 500 commercial missions.

Director, Data Engineering
Priya leads OAR's data engineering practice with a background in large-scale pipeline architecture and geospatial data systems. Previously at a major cloud infrastructure provider.
Derek Callahan
Director, Drone Operations
Derek manages all flight operations and inspection programs. A former military UAV operator with 1,200+ flight hours, he brings mission-planning discipline to every commercial engagement.
